The yukata itself has not been unfolded since purchase, so the inside is unconfirmed but believed to be clean.

The item will be shipped compressed, so we recommend unfolding and ironing out any wrinkles upon arrival before use.

Care Instructions:

*   Machine washing may cause loss of shape. Hand washing is generally recommended.
*   Rinse thoroughly.
*   Avoid using a tumble dryer (rotary dryer) as it may cause the fabric to shrink.
*   The fabric may shrink slightly after washing.
*   Cut the basting stitches with scissors.
