1950’s Black Brocade A-Line Skirt Built-In Tulle Petticoat Side Zip w Hook & Eye Closure Velvet Waist No Stretch Size Medium 28” waist 31” length from waist to hem  ⭐️ Overall very good vintage condition, especially for its age. — Fabric is strong with no major flaws — Very minimal wear, nothing to note — Velvet waistband intact — Closure works properly  Step back into the early 20th century with this stunning authentic vintage evening skirt, dating from the late 1940s to early 1950s. This heirloom belonged to my great aunt, born in 1908, and was worn when she was in her 40s. It has been carefully stored for decades and remains a beautifully preserved example of pre-war women’s fashion.  Design & Construction • Fabric: Black floral brocade / jacquard with subtle sheen • Shape: Classic early swing / A-line silhouette • Waistband: Soft black velvet band, typical of 1930s eveningwear • Interior: Fully structured with a built-in black tulle crinoline • Hem: Inner petticoat trimmed in pink ribbon, an uncommon detail • Closure: Original metal hook-and-eye at the waistband (another 30s/40s hallmark)  This type of built-in crinoline was designed to give skirts gentle volume before the iconic 1950s full skirts became popular. The craftsmanship is sturdy and elegant—hand-finished interior details, gathered tulle, and beautifully woven brocade fabric.
