Vintage 1970s Knobler Romania Crystal Irish Coffee Mugs Set of 6

Set of six Knobler Romania crystal Irish coffee mugs featuring elegant flared rims, thick weighted pedestal bases, and hand-applied loop handles. These glasses have a beautiful balance in the hand, with the handle positioned lower on the body where the heavier base naturally supports the weight of the drink.  Each glass displays the subtle individuality associated with hand-blown crystal, including slight variations in shape, occasional air bubbles, and minor manufacturing characteristics that give the set warmth and character. The thin flared rims contrast nicely with the substantial pedestal foot, creating a design that feels both delicate and sturdy.  Knobler imported a variety of Romanian crystal and glassware during the mid-to-late twentieth century. Romanian crystal from this period is known for its hand-finished details, substantial weight, and slight variations that distinguish it from machine-made production. Two glasses have small flea-bite chips along the rim (shown in photos). The remaining glasses present well with clear crystal and bright clarity. As expected with hand-blown crystal, there are occasional air bubbles, minor manufacturing variations, and slight differences in shape and size from one glass to another.  NPK(Psh)-
