Beautiful vintage Japanese oshie-style padded fabric art featuring a dimensional portrait of a woman/geisha-style figure in profile wearing a floral kimono. The piece has raised fabric details, textured black hair, small flower hair accents, and a soft painted background with artist stamp/signature detail. Displayed under glass in a gold-tone and wood-tone shadow box frame with a textured mat and gold-tone inner trim. Back is hand marked with Japanese writing and dated 1990.9. Google Lens translation suggests the names Tomoko Yamaguchi and Sachiko Ishii, though translation may not be exact. Approximate size: 11” wide x 12” tall. Includes hanging cord and hardware on back.
