Big enough to feel sturdy, but still very feminine. I wear mine frequently and get lots of compliments.  The material is a stainless steel alloy, per the manufacturer, and is designed for durability and long wear. Please note that it is NOT sterling. Mine gets a lot of use, and I'm tough on my hands, and it shows minimal scratches and no sign of tarnish or color changes. I like mine so much, I wanted to add it to my boutique.
