Tiffany & Co. Halcyon Days Tiffany & Co Oval Enamel Pansy Pill or Trinket Box Lavender Purple

Oval Halcyon Days Enamels pill/ trinket box, designed by Tiffany & Co. It has a lavender enameled base and a hand-painted pansy motif on the lid. The interior lid has the French phrase Plus penser que dire, which translates to Think more, say less. Halcyon Days was founded in 1950 as a small London antique shop. They are famous for reviving the 18th-century English art of enameling on copper, a craft originally centered in Bilston and Battersea. They are one of the few companies to hold three Royal Warrants from the British royal family. This vintage little box is beautiful, and in excellent condition, with no chips, scuffs, etc. - but please take a look at the detailed photos. NOTE: it does not have its original box.
