2 Mechanical Vintage Cross 14K Gold Filled Mechanical Pencils Circa 70’s-80’s.

2 Vintage 1970-1980 Cross 14KT gold filled mechanical pencils in an original rose-colored full grain cowhide “Cross Pen Purse”. 14K gold-filled is more valuable than gold-plated. There is lead in one pencil and current pencil lead works smoothly.  A new lead refill will need to be purchased for the other one. Pencils measure 5 5/16. Both pencils are marked CROSS MADE IN USA 1/20th 14KT GOLD FILLED. One pencil has a rose design etched around the middle and appears not to have been used as frequently. It is in very good vintage condition! The other pencil has a clip and no design. The pencil with the clip appears to have some wear and minor use scratches. (please see photos) Both have eraser caps that come off and are usable, but new erasers may be fresher. They are perfect for collectors and enthusiasts who appreciate the quality and craftsmanship of vintage writing instruments. They make a beautiful addition to any collection!
