Description
Vintage Patriotic 8 Point Lone Star Cutter Quilt. 12 blocks of Red White and Blue 8 point stars with Red and Blue framing. Plain Cream backside. All hand quilted and possibly hand pieced (not sure). Such an eye catching pattern! Age unknown, but the fabric is soft and pliable. Other antique and older vintage quilts I’ve owned have had the same feel. This quilt is very damaged, with stains, rips, exposed batting, pinholes and tattering. The dark areas are faded. All of the star blocks have issues like small seam separations, small holes, etc. but could still be used for repurposing. Some have worse damage, like larger holes & rips. Even with all the damage, this quilt has a beautiful, rustic appeal! Too beautiful to go unused for something else! Quilt measures approx 66” x 78” Other vintage quilts available separately.
