Genuine Egyptian Scarab for Jewelry Making
Genuine Egyptian Scarabs for Jewelry-Making This scarab is from my unused overstock supply from my jewelry-making days. I got this in Egypt, but I never got around to using it. It is hand-carved and approximately 1.25 long. There is a wide hole, which allows for using leather or other cords if you like. Due to the hand-made nature, some slight imperfections lend uniqueness, authenticity, the signature of an ancient relic, and a rustic look. This sale is for 1 large light blue scarab bead. It is carved out of soapstone or steatite, a soft stone that becomes hard when fired (forming enstatite) and is glazed. #Scarabs #beads #statement #centerpiece #pendant #jewelrymaking #jeweler #Egypt #AncientEgypt #GoodLuck #Amulet #Pharaohs #Pharonic #Hieroglyphics #Protection In Ancient Egypt, Scarabs were a symbol of life and death, renewal, the sun re-emerging each day, protection, good luck, and a means of warding off evil.
