Dakin Vtg R. Dakin 1977 Teddy Bear Clasped Paws Korea Shredded Clippings Plush Toy

A wonderful find for vintage plush toy collectors! This is an authentic R. Dakin & Co. Teddy Bear from 1977, manufactured in Korea (as indicated on the original tag). The bear features a classic seated design, bright plastic eyes, and a distinct two-tone muzzle and paw pads. Crucially, the arms are designed with clasped paws, meaning the hands are attached together (or originally had a hook-and-loop fastener or stitching for them to hold hands, a charming feature of this model). The original tush tag confirms the year 1977 and the unique filling: All New Materials Shredded Clippings (a desirable vintage trait, sometimes called nutshell or shredded foam). The bear is in good vintage condition for its age (45+ years old). There are no major rips or tears, but typical signs of wear include minor fluff flattening and some fading/wear to the tag (see photos for detail). This Dakin collectible will make a perfect addition to any collection of 1970s toys or vintage stuffed animals. #DakinClaspedPaws #VintageDakin #1977TeddyBear #ShreddedClippings #70sPlushToy
