Got this in an estate auction so not the original owner. Sharing what I pulled up on this is that most likely with the NR Hallmark this is a Nancy and Rise piece designed for Avon jn the 80's, maybe part of their Steampunk costume Jewelry. I read several accounts to what this may be, but most lead back to this. It may not be a genuine gemstone, i don't have the equipment to test, but in the description of the exact ring they said Smoky Quartz. It is a large oval stone in a Statement piece of jewelry. It is also gorgeous!
