The Kumo (Cloud) carved character is attached to the ceiling above the place where the kamidana is enshrined, in cases where people walk above the kamidana, such as in buildings or on the second floor.
Please attach it to the ceiling where you have displayed your kamidana, talismans, or amulets.
Double-sided tape is attached to the back.
Please understand that due to it being natural wood, the grain and color will vary from piece to piece.

Expressing gratitude to the deities who watch over our daily lives.
Kamidana are generally installed in bright, clean places near the ceiling.
In apartments, condominiums, or multi-story houses where there is living space above the ceiling, it is considered very disrespectful to have people walking above the deities.
In such cases, by attaching the character Kumo to the ceiling directly above the kamidana, it signifies This is the sky. There is nothing above this, conveying the meaning of an open sky and showing respect to the deities. This can also be used similarly for Buddhist altars.
