This is the shell of a Japanese spider crab, one of the world's largest deep-sea crabs.

In some areas of Shizuoka Prefecture, there is a custom of painting a Hannya mask on this shell and displaying it at the entrance as a warding off evil charm. How about using it for your home's protection, store decoration, or as a collectible?

After the crab, sourced from Suruga Bay, was consumed, the shell was carefully washed, boiled, and sun-dried to finish.
Its overwhelming size makes it a striking interior decoration even when displayed as is.
