This is a Fuku-sa (silk cloth) featuring a Meoto-duru (pair of cranes) design, made of pure silk, suitable for engagement ceremonies.

It features the auspicious Meoto-duru (pair of cranes) pattern.
How about using it as a modern Japanese-style tapestry, a placemat, or a New Year's wall decoration?

While many hanging cloths are small, these are large sizes.
The four corner tassels (kibō) on the large and medium sizes are missing.

These are old items that have been stored for some time.
They have been stored in my parents' chest of drawers, unused.
There appear to be no particular stains or damage on either the front or back. However, as I do not know the original color, there may be some age-related deterioration.
