* While cats are generally kept indoors, we understand there may be various reasons why some must live outdoors.
In such cases, a warm and cozy house would provide peace of mind, wouldn't it? How about this one? ?
* Originally, these are boxes used for storing seafood and vegetables. They are thick and offer excellent insulation and airtightness. The large house is made with thicker material.
* Two entrances will be provided.
The small house will have a tunnel-shaped entrance only. For the large house, you can choose between an L-shaped entrance or a tunnel-shaped entrance (Photos ⑥⑦).
If you choose the L-shaped entrance, please specify whether you want it as shown in the photo or reversed, and whether the main entrance should be on the short side or the long side.
From October to April, one entrance will be sealed.
When the weather is pleasant, please open both entrances for good ventilation.
* If there are hostile cats, having two entrances provides an escape route.
* Applying an aluminum insulation sheet to the inside will enhance insulation (and also prevent scratching).
* Please prepare cushions or blankets (replace them if they get damp).
* In winter, place a hot water bottle (rechargeable is fine) or a long-lasting heat pack (like Kiribai) inside.
Placing rabbit bedding (straw) under a blanket is said to prevent the blanket from freezing even if it gets damp.
* In summer, place the house in a shaded area and provide a cooling mat.
You can also place a towel-wrapped ice pack inside (please ensure it doesn't directly touch the cat's body).
* Do not place the house directly on the ground. Install it on top of bricks or a board (raising the small house slightly can make it easier for cats to enter).
* To prevent strong winds, place heavy objects (like boards or bricks) on top of the house.
* For UV protection, covering the house with a black shade cloth or weed barrier is recommended (this also helps prevent scratching).
* You can tell if a cat is in residence if the bottom of the rolled-up bamboo blind is tucked inside, and out and about if it's hanging outside.
* If the cat is hesitant to enter, try lifting the blind or luring it with dried sardines.
* The large house can accommodate up to 3 adult cats or 6 kittens.
* Please understand that minor dents during transport are possible.
