Noragi Vintage Indigo Dye Kasuri Hemp Noh Climbing Cloth Old Cloth Boro NOR-115
This is a well-used, sturdy Noragi (work coat) made from indigo-dyed Kasuri fabric from the late Meiji to late Taisho period, and Noto linen fabric, giving it a wonderful texture.
The sleeves and collar are made of a different fabric. It appears to have been remade from a Noragi into a Juban (undergarment).
There are some tears on the sleeves, and stains on the body and collar. There are also some scuffs and wrinkles.
Please use it for wearing or as material for remaking.
We ask that those who are sensitive to the unique smell of old fabrics or the smell of moth repellents refrain from purchasing.
We request purchases from those who understand old fabrics and Boro (patched and mended textiles).
Material: 100% Linen
Length: 68cm
Sleeve length (from center back): 48cm
Cuff width: 18cm
Body width (back, full): 56cm
