This is a new, unused sleeveless haori (jinbaori, gilet, or chanchanko).
It is made of pure silk and still has its basting stitches.

The plump, all-shibori fabric is light and warm, making it perfect for loungewear or for adding an extra layer when you want to go out for a short while.

The reddish-purple color, combined with the luxurious all-shibori, makes it a recommended gift for women celebrating their 60th (Kanreki), 70th (Koki), or 77th (Kiju) birthdays as a chanchanko.
(While traditional chanchanko are often worn only on the celebratory day, this is a high-quality item that can be worn as a vest over everyday clothes even after the celebration.)

When wearing a kimono, it can be worn flexibly inside a winter coat. Because it has no sleeves, you can layer it without your kimono sleeves bunching up inside the coat sleeves, allowing for easy temperature regulation.
Also, with a long length, there's a risk of it showing from under a coat, but this short length is easy to wear.
This item solves the problem of kimono and haori sleeve lengths or裄 (yuki) not matching.

A haori himo (cord) will be included as a bonus, as shown in the photo.
