The outer fabric is wool, the lining is synthetic, and the filling material is unknown, but it is likely cotton.

My elderly mother sewed this. She learned Japanese sewing techniques but is an amateur.

The lining uses fabric from a disassembled kimono.
The outer fabric is from a bolt of cloth. It features a lovely camellia flower pattern on a calm blue background. The blue color appears vibrant in the photos, but it is a deeper shade in reality.
