Set of 7 pure tin sake cups (guinomi/choko) with the "Suzuhan" brand

39.60 $
Description
This is a set of 7 sake cups (guinomi/choko) from the Suzuhan brand, made of pure tin.

Suzuhan was an ultra-long-established shop founded in 1714 (Shotoku 4) during the Edo period, considered the pinnacle of Osaka. It sadly closed down in 1996, making its items highly sought-after vintage pieces that are no longer available.

- Material: Made of pure tin, a precious metal, it is rust-resistant and considered auspicious.
- Tin vessels are said to absorb impurities and mellow the taste of sake.
- Cannot be used in microwave ovens or over open flames.

Size: Approximately 4.9cm (diameter) x 2.3cm (height) per cup.
There are 2 additional cups with a different brand name.

These are home-stored items, so please only purchase if you understand this. Thank you.
