Product Name:
[Beautiful Condition] Imari Ware Sometsuke Octagonal Choko, Set of 2, Landscape and Chinese Poetry, Guinommi, Sake Cup, Antique
Product Description:
This is a set of two octagonal choko cups from Imari ware (Arita ware) with sometsuke (blue and white) decoration.
The shape is octagonal, which is considered auspicious as it widens towards the top, and it fits comfortably in the hand.
Deep cobalt blue, which stands out against the white porcelain, is used to meticulously depict a tasteful landscape and **Chinese poetry (verses)**.
These cups are perfect not only as guinommi for enjoying sake, but also as dipping sauce bowls (choko) for soba noodles, or as small bowls for side dishes, adding elegance to your dining table.
This is a masterpiece recommended for antique lovers, those who appreciate the texture of old Imari ware, and those who want to incorporate high-quality Japanese tableware into their daily lives.
