Beautiful condition, good state. Two types of 1-go masu (rice measuring boxes): Kiso Nishio Brewery "Kiso no San" & Kanazawa Fukumitsuya "Fukumasamune"

Thank you for viewing.

This listing is for two types of 1-go (approx. 180ml) masu (square wooden cups): Kiso no San from Nishio Sake Brewery in Kiso, Nagano Prefecture, and Fukumasamune from Fukumitsuya in Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture. These were purchased around 2010 and have been stored since.

These are 1-go masu made of cypress, handcrafted one by one by skilled artisans. They can be used not only for drinking sake but also as small containers for trinkets, or even as a pincushion for sewing, offering various ways to enjoy them.

I am currently decluttering and releasing items from my long-collected assortment. I hope to pass on these cherished pieces to someone who will also treasure them.
