【Rare, Highest Quality Wood】 Yakusugi Sake Set: 2 Tokkuri (Sake Bottles) and 5 Ochoko (Sake Cups), Engraved

Thank you for viewing.

This is a very rare Yakusugi sake set (2 tokkuri flasks, 5 ochoko cups) nurtured by the rich nature of Yakushima, a World Heritage site, over thousands of years.

As new logging is now completely prohibited, this is a highly valuable craft that is difficult to obtain today, made only from precious wood secured in the past.

The dense and beautiful growth rings stand out in three dimensions, and you can feel the warmth of the smooth wood grain just by holding it. The word Yakusugi is engraved on the side of the ochoko cups.
