Ukiyo-e Kitagawa Utamaro Sake Bottle - 1 Go Tokkuri - Sake Vessel, Vase, Single Flower Vase - Okumi no Maru Sake
Thank you for viewing.
This is a ceramic mini tokkuri (sake flask) that appears to be a novelty or limited edition item from Bojo, the flagship brand of Hirano Jozo, a long-established brewery in Gujo City, Gifu Prefecture.
This is a charming ceramic mini tokkuri featuring a beautiful woman print (Year of the Monkey) by Kitagawa Utamaro, a ukiyo-e artist from the Edo period.
The back is inscribed with Okumi no? Sake Bojo in an elegant brushstroke, creating a retro and warm atmosphere that is captivating.
In addition to being a sake vessel for enjoying drinks, its small and cute size makes it highly recommended as a single-flower vase to decorate your room. It will look great in a Japanese-style room or a traditional Japanese house-style interior.
