This is a cafe au lait bowl by Naoto Okada.

Several years ago, I had the opportunity to meet Mr. Okada himself at his solo exhibition in Kudanshita Hanada, and he spoke directly to me about the cracks and chips of this bowl.
When I asked about its condition, Mr. Okada smiled and said, The challenge is how far you can continue to use it from this state. ^_^

Deeply moved by his words, I have cherished it on my shelf for a long time, not as an item for practical use, but as an object that allows me to feel the artist's spirit. Purchased around 2011, this is a precious piece that allows you to feel Mr. Okada's artistic journey.
