Roma bleu

Vintage Made in France
1990s
Limited Production
?? Unused

BERNARDAUD, a representative
master porcelain maker of Limoges, France.
Founded in 1863,
it has graced the tables of the world's
leading hotels, Michelin-starred restaurants,
and official state banquets,
representing the pinnacle of French porcelain.

This Roma bleu series features
a deep, captivating cobalt blue,
delicate gold accents, and classical decorations
reminiscent of acanthus leaves, fruits, and flowers,
elegantly intertwined. It beautifully fuses
the grandeur of Roman architecture
with the refinement of French porcelain?

The 1990s, when this series was produced,
was the last era when intricate handwork,
heavy gold plating, and deep cobalt blue
were still generously used.

In recent porcelain manufacturing,
due to cost, environmental regulations,
and labor costs, most production
takes place in factories in Southeast Asia.
Such dense gold decoration and
deep blue colors have been significantly simplified.
Reproducing equivalent artistry today
is virtually impossible, especially in France.

Furthermore, Roma bleu is a highly decorative
and limited-production series within Bernardaud?
It is rarely encountered due to its limited circulation.

While adhering to traditional techniques,
it is a highly refined series that naturally
blends into modern dining settings.

With its elegant and simple form,
it is easy to hold, and the gold and blue
enhance the color of beverages,
promising a special tea time.

Perfect for everyday use, anniversaries,
entertaining guests, or simply on days
when you want to indulge a littleˊ?ˋ

A piece that allows you to experience
true French luxury?
We hope you will cherish it??
