YOUBI Hinoki Armchair Easy Sofa Blue C

YOUBI
Our goal is to create items that make life more enjoyable through their use. We aim for beauty in utility that is not just for display but overflows with ease of use and enjoyment. When we sincerely create what someone desires, beauty in utility is born. Youbi's workshop is located in Nishi-Awakura Village, where 95% of the total area is forest, and the village's over 1,500 residents live in a basin at an altitude of around 300 meters. The entire village made the bold decision to nurture the trees planted 50 years ago for future children and grandchildren into magnificent 100-year-old forests. Today, it is a renowned success model for regional revitalization, blessed with clear streams and nature. Youbi has also been striving for manufacturing that eventually becomes scenery, primarily using cypress grown in this region. Japanese cypress, which is white, light, beautiful, and has been used in architecture since ancient times. We want to continue creating Japanese furniture that connects generations, using this globally rare material.
