? This is Shimootaniwatari, native to Okinawa. Scientific name: Asplenium antiquum
? In Okinawa, it grows epiphytically on trees in forests and woods.
? When fully grown, the leaves can reach 100-120cm in length.
? Simply displaying it will elevate your interior decor.

◆Cultivation Information◆

● Can be grown in sphagnum moss, potting soil, or well-draining soil.
● When the turgid stems start to droop, it's time to water. Water thoroughly.
● It is resistant to high temperatures and humidity, making it suitable for beginners.
● As it is grown in Okinawa, there is no information on its growth below 10 degrees Celsius.
● It grows well with or without fertilizer.
● It can grow in partial shade, but prefers bright locations.
● Hanging is especially recommended, as the drooping leaves from above create a dramatic effect.
● As it is an epiphytic fern, it is also recommended for mounting on wood or cork.
