The Kurobe Dam, a testament to human ingenuity, was constructed over seven years starting in 1956 amidst the breathtaking natural beauty of the Kurobe Gorge, which changes its colors with the seasons.
This is a pure rice daiginjo sake, carefully aged for one year in the depths of the Kurobe Dam, surrounded by the sound of falling water and the ions of the water.
This is a special limited edition aged sake, with only 4,500 bottles produced.
This is a unique sake, made with Junmai Daiginjo brewed with soft water from the Kurobe River alluvial fan springs, using a generous 50% polish of Yamada Nishiki rice, and then aged for one year in the depths of the Kurobe Dam, upstream from the Kurobe River. The temperature and humidity are ideal for aging, resulting in a rich, mellow sake with a harmonious balance of the five flavors.
