Showa Retro Wooden Ink Pot

This is a wooden ink marker used during the Showa period. It is handmade and has a retro feel from years of use. The ink wheel turns. The ink has been removed, the entire piece has been washed with water, and then treated with beeswax polish. The part where the ink was held can be used as a storage compartment.
