CHEMEX / Bleached Type
CHEMEX is a coffee maker developed by a scientist. Its form, reminiscent of a Erlenmeyer flask and a funnel, was inspired by the use of laboratory flasks as a substitute for coffee makers.
The secret to the delicious coffee brewed with CHEMEX lies in its unique paper filters. They are 20-30% stronger than regular paper filters and moderately remove the acids and fats that cause bitterness during filtration. They are used folded.
