Yucca Gloriosa Kimigayo Ran (Double Head)
Native to the southwestern coast of Mexico.
Shipped as a bare-root cutting, currently being managed for root development.
Option to ship potted for an additional fee.
[Features]
Yucca rostrata is excellent in both cold and heat resistance,
making it suitable for dry gardens and similar landscaping.
It can be propagated by cuttings or air layering,
with May to August being the optimal period.
[Characteristics]
It is quite hardy.
It grows well even along coastlines or in urban areas with air pollution,
and is not particular about soil type.
Some people insist on plants that have already rooted,
but these plants will even sprout roots if left unattended after being cut.
[Cultivation]
For rooting, use a rooting hormone
and it will root in 2-3 months. Important: Manage for root development in bright shade.
[Watering]
Prefers a dry environment, so keep the soil on the dry side throughout the year.
Especially in winter, reducing watering will increase cold tolerance.
It is said to withstand temperatures down to -20°C.
[Fertilizing]
It's fine to fertilize, but
it's best to do so once each in spring and autumn when the weather is warm.
