Miyagi Traditional Crafts Vermilion Lacquer Tea Caddy and Arita Ware Firefly Nadeshiko & Hana-an Iris Pattern Teacups
☆ Tea Caddy
?Sendai Tsuishu, a traditional craft of Miyagi Prefecture,
is said to have originated in the late Meiji period, and its technology
has since spread, leading to the establishment of the current
heat- and water-resistant Sendai Tsuishu.
?Tsuishu is a technique of carved lacquerware, where
multiple layers of red lacquer are applied and then carved with a pattern,
with black lacquer used for aging.
?Diameter approx. 9cm x Height approx. 11cm. The inner lid is
plastic.
?There is now only one Sendai Tsuishu workshop,
so it may become increasingly difficult to obtain.
?However, I have many tea caddies at home and
cannot use them all, so I am listing this for someone who would appreciate it.
?It has not been used frequently, but it has been stored for a long time,
so please understand that there may be minor scratches upon close inspection.
(Please refer to the photos)
☆ Arita Ware Firefly Nadeshiko Bunzan Teacup
?An elegant pattern adorns not only the outside but also the inside
of this white teacup.
?Approximate dimensions are: Diameter 7cm x Height 8.5cm
and Diameter 6.5cm x Height 8cm.
☆ Hana-an Teacup
?A pair of teacups with a beautiful iris pattern.
?Diameter approx. 9cm, Height approx. 5cm
?Hana-an is inscribed on the bottom.
☆ Both were gifts, but they have been stored in the cupboard with
hardly any opportunity for use, so I have decided to sell them.
☆ I apologize, but I cannot accommodate individual requests,
so please understand.
☆ There is no original box, so it will be carefully packaged and shipped.
