Buds, about the size of a fist, 6 pieces, with stems about 10cm long.
Safe for home gardens. Grown without pesticides. Aphids are very common, so we get rid of them by spraying with milk.

There are various ways to cook them, such as grilling, stir-frying, or boiling, but the easiest is boiling.
Since it has bitterness, soak it in vinegar water or lemon water for a while, then boil it with the stem for about 30 minutes. You can boil it whole or cut in half. It's ready when a bamboo skewer passes through easily.
Place it on a plate, peel off one leaf at a time, and scrape the soft part with your teeth to eat.
Remove the pistils and eat the soft part in the center. You can also enjoy it with dressing or mayonnaise, or chopped and added to salads.
Eat the white part in the center of the stem.

In Europe, they seem to be commonly available in stores when in season.
