For Kotobuki-sama only! Miniature fisherman accessory, brand new and unused! A figurine-like item to decorate bonsai and potted plants.
The original piece from the popular Man Bonsai figures from a few years ago!
This is a decorative figurine, like a diorama piece, to be placed alongside bonsai or potted plants (in the world of bonsai and potted plants, these are called tenpai). It's a decorative accessory, brand new and unused!
A friend who knew I was into moss balls gave this to me as a gift, but it's too expensive to use with my moss balls, so I'm selling it! It's being sold on other sites for around ¥11,000, so this is a great deal!
This is made using the most precise casting method among metal casting techniques. A prototype is made from beeswax, then it's covered in soil and fired at high temperatures. The heat melts the wax prototype, creating a gap. When molten metal is poured into this gap, the decorative accessory shown in the photo is created!
Because it's made using a small and precise casting method, it takes a lot of time and effort. However, as your bonsai or potted plants grow, and with the passage of time and changes in placement, it will develop a deep and tasteful patina!
Please enjoy watching it change over time!
