Pendulum Clock New Haven Antique Clock Spring-wound Clock Cuckoo Clock
This is a pendulum clock from the American company New Haven.
I believe it dates back to the Meiji era.
The movement has been replaced with a Seiko quartz movement.
It chimes the hour with a rod gong (with a switch).
The wooden parts of the main body have been cleaned, touched up, and finished with beeswax polish.
The gold-colored brass decorative trim is original. Many of the decorative tacks were missing, so they have been replaced with upholstery tacks.
The dial glass has been replaced with PET resin.
The paper dial has been re-covered.
The hands are original, modified for use.
The pendulum has been replaced with an aluminum one, as a heavy pendulum may not swing properly.
It requires one size D battery.
Battery replacement and the chime switch operation are done in the pendulum compartment.
The price includes shipping.
