Scissors with a light cutting feel due to the newly developed swing structure for pulling cuts.
By shifting the pivot point from the center of the blade, it achieves a pulling cut effect where you cut while pulling, rather than simply pressing down. This results in approximately 5 times the cutting power compared to our previous models.
To maximize the pulling cut effect, we've adopted a thick, asymmetrical handle that fits comfortably in your hand and efficiently transfers cutting force to the scissors.
Fluorine coating prevents glue from sticking.
The soft elastomer resin inside the handle reduces shock during cutting and the clicking sound of the handles hitting each other.
By shifting the pivot, the object being cut hits the pivot as you cut, guiding it downwards after cutting and allowing for smooth progress.
We've used a soft elastomer resin with an optimal hardness of 60% so that your fingers won't hurt and you can easily apply subtle force.
Double-edged blade processing makes it difficult for the blades to chip during cutting and maintains sharpness for a long time.
This product has won both the 2014 Japan Stationery Award for Functional Design Excellence and the Good Design Award.
