Fishlet New Improved Version
Many of you are probably using the Fishlet with automatic drainage, but have you ever thought this?
It's a hassle.
Even the Fishlet improved for automatic drainage can feel surprisingly troublesome after using it for a while, can't it?
When a large amount of excrement and debris accumulates inside the Fishlet, even after draining, it may not flow out because it's stuck...
When you try to remove the stuck debris, you might shake the Fishlet, or end up taking out the main unit and washing it...
The Fishlet is excellent at collecting excrement and debris, but ultimately, if the accumulated waste isn't removed, the water quality will only worsen.
So, wanting to make things even easier, I've created an upper filtration unit version of the Fishlet.
The improved version is the part above the red dotted line in the first image. Visually, it looks no different from attaching the usual drainage pipe, but it has been carefully modified.
The Fishlet will expel water as shown in the second image.
The advantage of this filtration system is that it doesn't require a pump, so no additional electrical outlet is needed.
The third image shows an example of use. It's installed in a 90cm slim aquarium.
The basket is perforated to diffuse the water flow, and filter media is placed inside the basket for use. Please use your preferred filter media.
However, due to its unique usage, a large amount of filter media cannot be accommodated.
Previously, I enjoyed watching the poop being sucked into the Fishlet, but with this device, you can enjoy watching the poop that would normally be sucked into the Fishlet being directly drawn into the pipe and expelled into the filter.
The items shipped will be the basket, two rods to secure the basket, the modified pipe, and the Fishlet main unit.
If you are dissatisfied with your current modified Fishlet, please consider this product.
Air is required, so please prepare an air hose.
