Showa Retro Flip Alarm Clock SEIKO QN407R - Alarm and Light Fully Functional

【Mid-1970s】SEIKO Table Clock with Alarm & Light, D-Cell Battery, Long-Term Working Condition

Product Description

This is a SEIKO table clock purchased around the mid-1970s (approx. 1975-1980).
It features an alarm function and a light function, and runs for a long time on a single D-cell battery.

There are no missing parts or noticeable major scratches, and I believe it is in beautiful condition for an item from half a century ago.
Please judge from the photos. The box and instruction manual are not included.

Since its purchase, it has continued to keep time on my study desk and then on my computer desk for at least over 40 years.
It is currently in working order, including the alarm and light functions.

The alarm sound is a retro electronic beep beep beep... with a slight coughing sound at the very beginning.
We hope you will understand this as the charm of an item used for many years.

[Product Condition & Notes]

- There are some remaining tape marks (sticky residue) on the main unit.
- There is dust inside that cannot be removed.
- We ask that only those who understand these points about old items consider purchasing.

Accuracy (Note)
It tends to gain about 1 minute every few days (this is just an estimate).
I used to manually adjust it once every 1-2 months.
Please understand in advance that high accuracy comparable to modern radio-controlled clocks cannot be expected.

We would be happy to pass this on to someone who can cherish it as a moving interior with a Showa retro charm, after understanding the above points.

Thank you for looking.
