Description
Hoya kerrii is a succulent evergreen perennial vine belonging to the Apocynaceae (Asclepiadaceae) family. It is also known by the nickname Love Chain due to its heart-shaped leaves that grow in abundance, and is said to be a plant that brings good luck in love.
Heart-shaped leaves grow opposite each other, and the vines can grow up to about 2 meters long. If the environment is suitable, it will bloom unique, slender, reddish-purple flowers in the summer.
Summer Care:
Manage in a semi-shaded location with good ventilation.
Winter Care:
When temperatures drop below 8°C (46°F), move indoors to a warm location. However, try to expose it to as much sunlight as possible during the day. Since indoor environments are often dry, you can occasionally mist the leaves with water.
