Sorghum Takakibi Pasture Green Manure Seeds 50 Seeds Natural Farming Home Harvested

This is a packet of 50 seeds of naturally grown, pasture and green manure sorghum (New Early Smac).

《Sowing Period》May-July. Germination optimal temperature: 15°C or higher.

It is very drought-tolerant and grows tall (about 2m), so it will grow on its own after sowing if left unattended.
We recommend managing the spacing at about 20-30cm between plants.
Photos 1 and 2 show the situation when sown in rows and densely planted without thinning.
It is suitable for windbreaks, incorporation as green manure, chopping the stems and leaves for silage, and as feed for chickens and cattle.
How about using it as a banker plant to protect vegetables from insects?
The seeds are also recommended as bird feed!
It has almost no peculiar taste or bitterness and can be used in cooking.

We also handle many other varieties of open-pollinated and heirloom seeds.
We offer discounts for combined purchases, so please check our profile for details.
