Description
Thank you for viewing.
These are rice seeds (seed rice).

We cultivated rice from planting to harvest without using any fertilizer or machinery.
Threshing was also done using a foot-powered thresher.

We are offering these to those interested in rice cultivation or bucket rice cultivation.

Variety: Koshihikari
Quantity: 60g
Cultivation location: Nagano Prefecture

We counted the grains, and there were approximately 200 seed rice grains per 5g, so this is a sufficient amount for growing in a bucket.
As we sort them by hand, there may be stems other than seed rice, empty husks, or seed rice with scratches or cracks. Please understand. We will include slightly more than 60.0g. We are listing this as new from the perspective of being new rice and unused.
The amount of seeds can be adjusted, so please contact us if you have a desired quantity.

You can find various methods for growing rice by searching for bucket rice cultivation.
① Soaking in water → Change water daily. It is said that germination occurs when the temperature exceeds 100℃ (this is likely a typo and should refer to a different condition, but we are translating as is).
② Plant the germinated seeds in a planter or similar container.
Once the sprouts emerge and have 5 leaves, transplant them into a bucket.
Fill the bucket with soil and water to create a muddy state.
④ Grow in a sunny location, being careful not to let the water dry out.

What we've learned from growing is that rice cultivation isn't particularly difficult, and rice seems to adapt and grow according to its environment. For example, if you plant fewer seedlings in a bucket, the rice plants will tiller and increase their numbers on their own.
Even if you don't know something, it's interesting to try it out.

We were able to harvest rice even with dry-land cultivation. However, the yield was less compared to paddy rice.

- We cannot guarantee that all seeds will germinate, but I use these seeds to continue growing rice in my paddy field every year.
- Parts other than seed rice may be included. Also, some grains may not be fully separated. Please separate them one by one when soaking.
- We will ship in a transparent zip-lock bag. No packaging is included.

We also sell other types of seeds.
We have seed rice for glutinous rice and also in the form of rice stalks.

please feel free to comment.
- We do not guarantee the purity of the variety or the quality.
- These are not seeds for farmers or certified seeds.
- Please use for enjoyment at home.
