Hokkaido-grown White Kidney Beans, 10 pieces

These are Hokkaido-grown white kidney beans.

They are famous for being grown in Hokkaido and Nagano when sown in spring. They bear fruit in cool regions at altitudes of 900 meters and above. In warmer lowlands, they bear fruit when sown in July. In areas without snow, they become perennial and bear fruit every year.

These are giant beans, and simmered beans are very delicious.
Even if the pods are young and the beans inside are not fully ripe, try taking them out, boiling them, seasoning them, and eating them. You will be surprised by how soft and delicious they are.

We started making seedlings in April, and germination rates are very good in a warm environment of 25°C or higher. Out of 23 seeds sown, only 3 failed to germinate.
