Mustard greens are related to Takana (leaf mustard) and have a strong pungent flavor when chewed.
The seeds are the raw material for mustard powder.
Compared to Takana varieties, they are smaller, with narrower leaves and more serrations.
Mustard greens can be used widely, from young leaves to large plants that have started to bolt.

Harvest when the plant reaches about 20 cm in height. Cut at the base of the stem with a knife or scissors. Green mustard and red mustard can be eaten as baby leaves, so harvest them whenever you like. If you don't cut the growing point, new leaves will continue to emerge, allowing you to enjoy them for a long time.
