These are kumquats cultivated using natural farming methods (no pesticides used during cultivation).

As kumquats, they have a slight bitterness, but they are also sweet and delicious. I eat them raw, with the peel, as a snack instead of sweets! Please try it. My children love them, so I put mini tomatoes and kumquats in their lunch boxes. It makes the colors vibrant! (Photos included)

(The secret to preventing mold: thorough washing)
1. Washed with water to remove dust and debris.
2. Washed with a solution derived from natural ingredients (egg shell powder, etc.) and shochu to thoroughly remove mold and bacteria.
3. Further removal of mold and bacteria using an ultrasonic cleaning machine.
4. Rinsed again with clean water.
5. Dried with paper towels to remove surface moisture.

*It takes approximately 5-6 months from fruit set for kumquats to mature. By the time they turn yellow, they will have accumulated some dust, bacteria, and mold.

(Regarding summer transport)
Note: During summer, some kumquats may be soft upon arrival, or juice may leak inside the bag. This is due to accelerated ripening from the heat, but they have been thoroughly washed. Please rest assured that they are not spoiled. The leaked juice can also be collected and consumed. Try it with yogurt or juice.

We use bags that prevent mold and bacteria from entering during transport.

(Storage Method)
As long as the package is unopened, they can be stored at room temperature. After opening, if there is any leakage, washing them with water will help them last longer. Refrigeration is recommended.

Q: The bag is bulging.
A: This is due to natural gas production during transport. The kumquats are ripening to reproduce. This does not affect the quality.
