Price Drop! [25 Years Old, Beautiful Shape] Natural Driftwood Self-Standing Tunnel Type (Stored in Aquarium for 5 Years, Indoors for 20 Years)
I've lowered the price to help organize my collection for the weekend Mercari sale!
This driftwood is recommended not only for aquariums and terrariums, but also for keeping reptiles and insects, or as an ornamental piece.
I purchased it about 25 years ago at the tropical fish section of a home improvement store.
I used it as the main driftwood in a 60cm aquarium for about 5 years at the time.
After I stopped keeping aquariums, I displayed this driftwood indoors on a sideboard because I liked its shape.
It has not been submerged in water for about 20 years, so I believe it is completely dry.
[Features]
- There is a large tunnel (hollow) in the center that fish, shrimp, and reptiles can pass through.
- It has a very impressive, rugged, and undulating shape. The front and back have completely different appearances.
- It can only stand on its own on a flat surface like a table in one direction, but it can be placed in various orientations by burying it in the substrate or gravel of an aquarium. This makes it easy to create layouts in your aquarium and enjoy redecorating (changing layouts).
[Size]
- Width: Approximately 35cm when standing on its own on a flat surface (maximum 42cm)
- Height: Approximately 28cm
- Depth: Approximately 13cm
- Weight: Approximately 1.4kg
(※Please forgive any slight errors as these are amateur measurements.)
[Condition]
- There is a small crack in the lower center when standing on its own on a flat surface, and the tip of the branch with the crack moves about 2mm if you apply a little force. (Photos 14 & 15) For this reason, I have categorized it as Slightly scratched or dirty, although it is not dirty.
- I wiped the entire piece with a cloth and brush for this listing, but I do not have specialized knowledge, so I have not washed it with water or boiled it again.
- Please understand that this is a long-term home storage item and a natural material before purchasing.
[Shipping]
It will be packed with newspaper and shipped anonymously via Rakuraku Mercari便 in a recycled cardboard box.
