Zephyranthes Seeds, Yellow, 300+ Seeds
These were harvested after blooming at home.
Zephyranthes is a general term for plants in the genus Zephyranthes of the Amaryllidaceae family. They are perennial plants that grow in warm regions and form bulbs in the soil. Along with the closely related genera Habranthus and Cooperia, many species have the characteristic of extending flower stalks and blooming after rain falls and moistens the bulbs following a period of dryness and heat, so they are collectively called rain lilies.
Spring-blooming varieties bloom from May to early June, and autumn-blooming varieties bloom from around July to October. The flowers only last a few days, but new ones bloom one after another, so you can enjoy the flowers for a long time by planting them densely.
If you start from seed, it will take about a year or so to bloom, but I believe they will bloom in the second year.
