Would you like to try growing Japanese dandelions from seed? They are very cute.
Our seeds are double-flowering.
It's time to sow the spring-blooming seeds.
If sowing directly, please try sowing in several batches. Sunlight and natural rainwater are important for germination, so please be patient.
The item for sale is seeds only.
Collected 4/21-22, approximately 500 seeds.
(With this many, at least one plant should survive!)
Collected from over 20 plants, aged 2, 3, 4, and 5 years.
Fluff has been removed.
For culinary use, at this time of year, try them in medicinal congee or as hot pot ingredients. They're also great in salads!
The flowers can be deep-fried as tempura!
Slice the roots, dry them, then pan-fry for 10 minutes and steep! You'll have a coffee-like, caffeine-free tea (please do so at your own risk).
They are said to be more nutritious than invasive species.

Sensitive to acid rain and tap water.
May be half white and half yellow, changing color.
If you would like seedlings with roots, we can offer them for ￥800 (approximately 1 three-year-old plant or 2 two-year-old plants).
Frankly, you can eat the seedlings with roots sooner. Shipping will be via Yu-Packet Post.
