Agapanthus is a perennial that prefers sunny, well-draining locations. It is drought-tolerant and requires little fertilizer, making it very easy for beginners to grow. It blooms with blue or white flowers from late May to August, and requires almost no maintenance when planted in the ground. For potted plants, repotting is recommended every 3-4 years around May, which also serves as an opportunity for division.
