Mitsubishi Pencil uni Uni Tape Writer Alphanumeric RE-103

The main unit is in good condition, but it has been stored in its box at home, and the box has discoloration and stains.
There is no instruction manual, but the usage is described on the back of the box.

I tried typing dates, but the spacing between characters sometimes widens and sometimes narrows, though I'm not sure if this is how it's supposed to be.

Dial includes only English letters and numbers.
Tape is 9mm width only, and comes in 3 colors:
Green: approx. 140cm (already set in the main unit)
Yellow: approx. 60cm
Blue: approx. 90cm
