When growing in a planter:
Water thoroughly until it drains from the bottom of the pot when the surface of the soil is dry.
When planting in the garden:
Water the seedlings for 1-2 weeks after planting to keep the soil from drying out.
Once the roots have settled into the soil and can absorb water well,
you can leave the rest to the rain. No further watering is necessary.
Initially, the leaves may wither until the roots establish, but
as long as the roots are alive, please wait for new shoots to emerge.

Once the roots are established, they will grow indefinitely.

Collected from a field in my own mountain's natural environment (a place where no one else enters).

They are lightly washed with natural spring water, but
soil may still be present, along with dirt and small insects.
